Great app👍🏼
With some good tracking protection.
Some things to improve would have the tracking-protection as interactive with more info as the Safari extension, and have the possibility to sync taps with different devices.
Less trustworthy than earlier versions
The newer versions have worse and nosier UI and seem to really, really want to record your browsing history “for your comfort and convenience” or whatever excuse they have.
I no longer trust Ghostery. If I had any even moderately embarrassing habits to hide, I would not use it. For adblocking it is still ok, though, as far as I can tell.
“Nosier UI” above is one of those typos that are funny because they are true - actually I wanted to say “noisier” as opposed to “clean and elegant” but “nosier” is just as true...
Great anti-tracker app, poor search engine
This app is a great anti-tracker app. Just like its browser plugin. The only caveat is that the search engine is not very efficient (yet?). Overall, a recommendable app.
