Smart-ID is the easiest, most convenient and safest way to authenticate yourself online – check your online bank account, access e-services and confirm transactions.
Smart-ID allows you to give signatures equal to handwritten signatures (except Basic level), which complies with EU regulations about qualified electronic signatures.

SAFE
Smart-ID app does not store your identity or PIN codes. The app is used for key management: it creates your private keys while account registration and later mediates authentication and signature requests. User identity is managed securely by the service provider. A technology has been used in this product for which Cybernetica AS has filed a patent application or a patent has been granted.

Biometric sign up doesn’t work well
The only reasonable way to install and use this app is biometric id way. The problem arises when you are asked to scan your id card. It is not intuitive where you should place the card. Even when you placing it in the right position, scanning most of the time is not triggering.

Hello! Apologies for the troubles. We are constantly working with our partners to improve biometric registration on the application side. ‘Your Smart-ID Basic can’t be used to login internet bank’
I have an app, but I cannot use it to login.
I don’t know what’s the point to have it then...
It worked fine before btw..
Danish app?
Great idea but can’t find it in my store even though it’s a Danish store. What is wrong?
