Description
IRIS scan is a 1st line defense against substance impairment, designed for employee screening in high-risk workplaces like mines and manufacturing floors. It uses artificial intelligence to screen employees rapidly and objectively, improving safety by reducing human error and bias.
Employees complete a 15-second eye-tracking scan, following a dot on the screen while AI analyzes hundreds of variables to detect potential impairment. IRIS scan is a preliminary screening tool that flags potential issues for further testing. All screenings are supervised, and employees flagged by the scan undergo confirmatory tests with validated methods according to internal policies. Capable of screening thousands of employees daily, IRIS scan significantly improves safety protocols and reduces the risk of accidents.
