LEGO BOOST set (17101) Feature List
- Includes 844 LEGO® pieces, plus a LEGO Move Hub, Interactive Motor and a Color & Distance Sensor.
- Move Hub features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, 2 encoded motors, activation button, internal tilt sensor and a light.
- Interactive Motor is an encoded motor.
- Color & Distance Sensor detects distance, motion and color, and can also function as a light.
- Create and code Vernie the Robot, Frankie the Cat, the M.T.R.4 (Multi-Tooled Rover 4), the Guitar 4000 and the AutoBuilder.
- Rotate Vernie’s head to activate its shoulder-mounted spring-loaded shooter.
- Build the M.T.R.4 (Multi-Tooled Rover 4) and try out the different tool and customization attachments for an array of exciting activities.

Solution to connect your device with MOVE HUB
If u r getting please wait msg on ur device iPad with nothing happening , u need to upgrade firmware on MOVE HUB
You have to update the firmware after that it will work

As soon as you see the screen that say upgrade firmware release the button and proceed with the upgrade.

iPad Air model MD786KN/A
App. does NOT work. Stuck on load screen. Load screen flashes but does not finish loading. iPad is updated to latest 11.2.1 iOS and has 5GB free space. Bluetooth is turned on. No error message is shown.
Update:
The found the solution to the issue. The problem was not related to my iPad Air 1 or software as LEGO support had told me. I had already updated to latest iOS prior to installation and the Brick was working fine on my iPhone X. I actually ended up buying a new iPad as Lego said my iPad was not compatible, and since we had talked about upgrading I would have liked to have waited another year.
The issue was instead related to my calendar being set to Budistic. It seemed my son had been messing with the iPad settings. I changed it to Gregorian and the software started as expected. That being said the software is still flaky. It crashes from time to time and you sometimes need to kill the app. But the product is super cool. So LEGO, you can safely add iPad Air 1 to your compatibility list. It works problem free! I did write you several e-mails about this!

Occasionally there are firmware updates that are required and based on your review your brick and tablet might be performing an update.
When an firmware update is taking place please make sure your "sleep" feature on your iPad is turned off and fresh batteries are in the Boost Move Hub. An update can take up to 20 minutes which is why the sleep feature needs to be off. If this does not correct your issue, please delete and reinstall the app as it might not have downloaded properly.
