Getting better and better… one day 🤞

I’ve had the formation Duo since 2020 and followed up with three more spaces in 2021.
a wedge with sub, a wedge and the audio.
I love the look and the sound of the system. The app is definitely improving over time. But still needs improvement so keep up the good work.
Formation as a multi room system is not quite there yet, hopefully this part will get more flawless over time and more speakers added to the lineup. I’ve been through multiple router and AP (wired and wireless setup) and costumer support to get it working ok but not near as promised with rock solid mesh network 😅

Should have bought a Sonos system :(

I have a formation bar + formation sub. The setup was meant to be my dream tv sound setup. Boy I’m disappointed.

The formation bars connection drops constantly on start up or between sessions. I find myself more often than not rebooting and resetting the system just to get the formation bar playing. That’s a very sad experience for a “premium” product with such a heavy price tag when you just want to listen to some music or watch a good movie.

The app/software is also really bad. You can’t really use a modern tv remote to control the volume, get a volume indicator etc. How can this not be a core functionality in a tv sound bar?

The multi room functionality is also really bad. There’s a lot of sync issues which makes it more or less unbearable to listen to.

Yikes. I seriously don’t know what to do after burning so much cash on this system.

Nice but keeps skipping lots of tracks from Tidal

The app is nice. I use it linked to a Tidal account and it skips a lot of tracks (even though they are available on Tidal and nothing’s wrong with them when playing from Tidal). Likewise the app’s own recommendations are also skipped. Not sure I see the point of generating a playlist with recommended tracks and most of them are just skipped.
UPDATE: B&W’s reply asking to contact their support is fine, but I had done so twice already without getting any answer whatsoever. Let’s see if this helps now getting their attention.
