Browse through thousands of place reports added by members of our community. See photos and reviews, all added by sailors with first-hand experience. Become a contributor: add places to the map and share your photos and reviews with other sailors.

Tell your story:

Add your boat to the map and record your adventures. You can even record your track in the app and share it live with friends and family back home. Add text, videos and blog links to your journey and build a permanent log available both in the app and on the noforeignland.com web site.

Make friends:

Join boat groups, and meet like-minded boaters near you. Filter the map to see other group members, and use the in-app chat to safely make contact.

This rocks

Awesome app for every sailor in the world.

Very promising and comprehensive with a few "buts"

I was getting more and more happy about using this app - primarily for tracking as a substitute for a tracking app for sailing, which I had been using for ten years.

It is relatively easy to use and features fun and interesting interaction and activation opportunities with the right balance to becoming a semi-social media app while retaining it's primary purpose.

The "buts" include an annoying tendency recently to fail recording tracking after a short while rendering the track incomplete and useless. I am also using another app in parallel which is steady as a rock but does feature the maritime qualities of Noforeignland. I hope this will be fixed soon, as I rely on it as my digital logbook.

Other "buts" relate to finding it difficult to click your way into certain features in the app that are not obvious nor easy to navigate.

But when it is working, it is absolutely marvelous. Especially I like the contribution of places and photos features which is constantly enriching the overall experience as a user based on rewarding participation.

A must have for sailors!

This is an awesome, community-driven app that is a must have for sailors around the world.
