Messy image handling
While the is app is superb at taking notes, adding, deleting, and opening images is a pain.
Deleting a note does not delete attachments.
Simply easy
I’ve used Obsidian for a few years on my macbook and just realised when I had a need for it using my phone that I I’ve never installed the iOS version. Literally in less than 30 seconds later I had my note saved in the app. No cloud needed no subscription needed just a notes app. Breathtaking.
Amazing on desktop very good on Mobile
An incredibly healthy user community and a long list of amazing plugins.
Using obsidian with templater, dataview and tasks plugins I have build a perfect setup for my use. It’s free to use and syncs with no fuzz among Apple devices. The paid sync service will be the best option if you mix Apple and windows devices.
