The best way to see the world is on foot. Explore the world and go on an epic journey, one step at a time. Peregrine counts the steps you take every day and adds them to a virtual walking journey anywhere in the world.
Pick a starting point and an end point – Paris to Berlin, Mumbai to Kathmandu, Vancouver to Mexico City, or anywhere else – and walk the journey with your own steps. Every day, you'll see a new photo taken at the place you've virtually reached.
Your journey may take weeks, or months, or years, but you'll see the landscape and people change over time in a way you only can by walking. When we travel by air or even car, we miss out on the details of a place, but the world reveals itself to us when we walk through it on foot.
This app requires permission to your walking data from Apple's Health Kit in order to determine how far you've walked every day. Peregrine is completely free and exists as a reminder to stay curious and that everything is in walking distance if you have enough time.
