Quick Camera is a utility to display the output from any supported USB web cameras. Quick Camera can be used for video conferences or presentations where you need to show an external device to your audience via the USB camera.
Quick Camera supports mirroring (normal and reversed, both vertical and horizontal), can be rotated, resized to any size, and the window can be placed in the foreground.

Simplicity is key!
My god this is great.. So simple, so easy and straight forward.. And adding the image grabbing option nailed it.. I have dug through countless pieces of sotware out there, not to mention spending hours trying to configure VLC not to lag, and this just does the job to almost perfection! If there is one thing I am missing from this, it would be some way to write my own prefix for the images being saved..
Almost perfect
With this app, I can finally use my USB microscope without having to look at a mirrored image. Thank you very much! The only downside is that it does not seem to detect when I connect a new camera as photo booth does. This means that I have to restart the application for in order to select it. But this is nothing seriously annoying.
