Description
Alternative SONOS App to Group rooms, control playback, Sonos playlists and favourites.
Interactive home screen widgets in small, medium and large sizes.
Large and medium widget allow playback of Sonos favourites.
Widgets can be customised to display a specific room or currently selected room in app.
Widget buttons can also be customised to control volume, toggle playback, skip tracks or link directly to a specific screen in the app, like group rooms or the select room screen.
Lock Screen & Inline Widgets that connect directly to Now Playing screen in app.
Control Sonos from outside your home network. Have music playing for you when you get home by starting playback from 4G/5G.
Please note that a Sonos system is required. This app uses the official Sonos API which requires that you have linked your Sonos system to your Sonos account. This app will not work until you authorise it with your Sonos account. Sono+ is an independent app and is not affiliated with Sonos Inc.

Works Well
Functions as promised! For iOS14 users: the widget is added down in the bottom left of the widget window by clicking ‘customise’ and not the ‘+’ in the upper left corner. I was getting sad about it not working, but figured it out.

Thank you very much for the review and I am delighted that you figured this out. I will definitely continue to develop Sono+ and update the design and functionality. The original Today Widget has been deprecated by Apple in favour of the new style widgets. Unfortunately this widget cannot be re-created as a new style widget yet as they are not currently interactive. But if it disappears after an update, a device restart will usually allow you to re-add it as before.

What a scam
Bought this app to get the widget back in the days and now they have broken the widget into a new app and removed the feature from this one. So now I have to pay again to have the new widget. No thanks.

Hi TorbenRasser, I definitely don't want you to pay twice so I've temporarily made the Sono+Today app free for the next 5 days. Just search for it on the store. I reluctantly separated the original widget into its own app as conflicts occur when modern style widgets and older widgets co-exist within the same app. Especially after updates and restarts, which can cause the older widget to disappear and get replaced with the new style one. Again, I didn't want anyone to pay twice so I made my original app free to everyone for the initial 6 weeks after doing this back in November 2021 and prompted all existing users about the change in the app. If you've any issues, please just contact me directly via the app. Many thanks, Paul
