Sphero Edu is your hub to create, contribute, and learn with Sphero robots. Go beyond code by incorporating unique STEAM activities to complete with your bot.
Designed for learner progression, Sphero Edu beginners can give robots commands by drawing a path in the app for their robot to follow. Intermediate coders can use Scratch blocks to learn more advanced logic, while pros can use text programming and write their own JavaScript.

SPHERO EDU FEATURES
PROGRAMS: Program your bots in 3 ways with Draw, Block, and Text modes. Start with the basics and grow.
SENSOR DATA: See location, accelerometer, gyroscope, velocity, and distance sensor data through visual graphs.
ACTIVITIES: Program a painting. Navigate a maze. Mimic the solar system. The only limit is your imagination.
TAKE A DRIVE: Need a brain break? Set LED colors on your robot and zoom around in Drive mode.
ASSIGNMENTS: Are you a teacher? Monitor progress by creating and assigning activities to students.

A company not to support in nowadays world
Find it very disturbing that one is not finding an app supporting a fully functional robot because it is from the first series.
Great that the company changes focus direction education but ignores at the same time the real world we are living in by forcing people to waste resources.
Further Sphero products will not enter our household for 2 reasons.
1. Company does no live sustainability
2. Who knows if the strategy will be changed again and other fully functional products will be rendered useless as well.
Why not add older products simply to the Sphero play app if they do not support the educational idea?
Will not work with 1. Generation sphero
1. Generation spheroes do not work with new apps and are now useless. Sad that you no longer can use a perfectly fine robot. Buy and throw away - not very sustainable
