Launching the app - error message is ‘data could not be loaded’ only option is to press ‘ok’. I tried this numerous times, no luck. I am hence stuck with no options. Not the most useful interface. Any tips ? Best regards, frustrated user.

Pay to play - don’t buy it!

If you pay for a game you expect to be able to access the whole game, but to get a new engine you need to either pay or watch commercials etc.

This game feels like a scam to pay for a game and have the game trying to hustle you even more is terrible..

So the game isn't pay to play. You have to race and set quick times to earn money. You can earn more money by entering Aces Race Meets, earning sponsorship etc. BUT you do have limited resources and have to manage them. There is strategy involved in SK and in order to win you have to out-smart all your other competitors.

We do offer the opportunity to watch ads if you wish to earn extra currency, and this help us cover server costs for the live racing - it keeps the game alive and helps players to progress.

Pay to Win

Although this is a paid game, it is clear that the intention of the game is that it will be “pay to win”. You are constantly offered better equipment for virtual currency and you can buy more virtual currency for real money. Basically its a light type of fraud not to be upfront about this.

Hi Gyxi2, from the review you post it doesn't sound like you've played the game enough to understand that the design of the game doesn't offer better equipment for more currency. The game is designed around two factors: Skill and Strategy - how you use your resources and when you choose to race. The game is the antithesis of pay to win. All the in app currency payments do is allow you to get from Cadets to the top tiers quicker (i.e. they speed up your journey). It's rather like playing Football Manager with a certain budget, but if you wish you can boost your starting budget and buy the better players quicker. It is entirely possible to succeed without spending anything - and if you don't then there's 6 months or more of gameplay, which for 5 euros is great value. I'd invite you to join the facebook group and get tips and advice and find more rivals from our brilliant community. www.facebook.com/groups/streetkartracing. I trust that after racing some more and having a deeper time in the game you'll understand the intention is entire skill based. There's no way to win the game without the required skill.
