Good but could be better

I need an option like Netatmo have where you can control all the thermostats at once. So that I can set all thermostats to 20C and not having to adjust every single one individually all the time

Expensive in-app purchase update

I’ve had my tados for a year and I’m happy with the thermostats. But what the %#%# happened to the app? I purchased the recommended update for 20€ and all I got was a reminder to open windows??? I even lost a great feature like staying in manual mode until next automatic change.

If you play that kind of trick again, then I’m out of here. Seriously.

4 stars for the thermostats, 0 for the pricy app update.

We apologise for the disappearance of the "until next automatic change" mode from the app - it had to be removed due to a technical issue, but we are working on bringing it back as soon as possible.

The new app also includes Air-Comfort, which uses data from inside your home along with air quality data for your region sourced by a third-party (Breezometer) to help you make informed decisions about when to air out your home or reduce humidity because it may cause health issues.

It also sets the groundwork for a slew of new features that will start appearing over the coming months.

Edit: We'd like to inform you that the V3+ version of this setting is already available, now you can find "Until next time block" as an option.

Worst support ever

I received a faulty A/C Controller where the Apple HomeKit code is not working and therefore not letting me add the device to my Apple Home.

I’ve been talking to the support team for over a week now with yet not a solution. How hard can it be to reassign the device a new code, or refresh the old code?

The support team lacks technical capabilities, understanding and professionalism. I think I’m through the 5th supporter on the chat where they still are trying to “understand” the problem.

As a customer, I don’t care weather you understand it or not as long as you get the device to work - if you can’t fix it right away, send a new one, retrieve the old one and than you can analyze the device to understand the problem.

For a company focused on smart home, IT support should be a no brainer, but apparently the whole system is wrongly managed.

I’ve used Tado for years and in general I’ve been really happy for it, but when it comes to extras (multi home capabilities, integrations, support) it is really a product still in development, from a company that does not work agile at all - so I would advice going to Sensibo or Eve which are much more stable and well supported.
