Description

Telephone allows you to make phone calls over the Internet or your company network. If your phone line supports SIP protocol, you can use it on your Mac instead of a physical phone anywhere you have a decent network connection.

Telephone Pro is a subscription that unlocks the full call history, allows 30 simultaneous calls, and supports ongoing app development. The subscription has a monthly and a yearly option. The prices are displayed in Telephone’s storefront at the time of purchase. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account and auto-renews unless disabled in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The subscription can be managed in your iTunes account settings.

Simpel and good SIP client

This SIP client is simpel and does what you expect from a SIP client.

It's easy to add accounts and edit them.

Supports most common codec's.

Even though I miss support for TLS and SRTP I will still give it 5 stars

Wonderful SIP client

This SIP client was the perfect replacement for good ol' SJPhone. It works perfectly with my old SIP account from Musimi in Denmark, and it allows in and out-going calls, in tandem with the SIP hardware I have for our regular phone and the SIP client I have on my iPhone. The interface is minimalistic and it is not an issue to have the program running permanently in the background - it never gets in the way.

Best of all - it is free :-) A clear 5-star program. Knowing how well it works, it would also have been worth paying for.

Tip: While typing in part of a name from the address book and selecting a phone number works perfectly, I also took the time to modify my old SJ Phone AppleScript for Address Book, to make it possible to select a phone number in the Address Book and initiate the call from within the address book. Works llike a charm. I use the simple "copy-paste" AppleScript functionality which makes any App scriptable.

Det kan bare ikke hvad det skal kunne.

Det er simpelthent for dårligt. Jeg har roddet med det en time nu og opgivet. SIP og VoIP er volapyk for alm. mennesker og der er ikke noget hjælp i opsætning fra programmets side. Det kan ikke kobles til skype og tdc og fullrate understøtter ikke ekstern brug af deres IP telefoni selvom du er inden for den samme hustand skal det altså køre i deres kabler.
