I have used a number of conference participant apps, but this one is by far the worst. The functionality is very limited, and most of it hardly works. When planning your conference attendance, you need to see the program for the following days. On an iphone that works, but on my ipad the menu with the days only shows for a tiny fraction of a second. After perhaps ten tries, it stays up. Then you pick one of the sessions, but when you go back to check another session, it switches back to today’s view, and you need to pass the broken menu again. All the following problems are common to both iphone and ipad:* You cannot select individual talks for your personal program, only full sessions.* When you select a session, you have to press the star button up to ten times before it works. And you need to be patient and pause between attempts, because *if* it works it does so with a two second delay, and if you pressed again in that period it immediately unselects.* On the personal program, you can see the sessions but pressing the “>” button to see the content does not work.* Searching for attendees works, but there is no information, not even whether they present. Time and session would be nice. A link to their presentation(s) would be too much to ask for.* The app randomly stops responding, or suddenly only shows a fraction of the program. An app restart is then required. Happens a few times per day.* There is no link from speakers to their abstracts.* The last point on the day’s program is hidden behind an ad, it can be seen by pulling up but cannot be selected.* Cut and paste is disabled, so I have to type talk titles manually into my notes app.* The app offers to update itself every ten minutes or so. Accepting kicks you back to start, declining tends to make the app lock up.TL;DR: The functionality is really limited, and mostly broken. The limited functionality would probably warrant two or three stars, if it actually worked. One star, since zero is not possible.
