Awesome game

This game series was recommended by a work colleague, and I am really positively surprised of how well made it is, all the way through. Awesome graphics, gameplay, story and music! Finished chapter 1 and now 2. On to Chapter 3!

I highly recommend it!

Super 🤗

As chapter 1, fantastic. Like playing monkey island in the old days 😊

Best adventure game I’ve played for a while

.. In my humble opinion, of course.
The second chapter might even be the best of the three and it does a great job of creating an immersive world and great atmosphere. It definately reminds me of Grim Fandango and my only regret about this game is that it’s not longer and possibly a liiiiitle bit more difficult to force you to spend more time on it.

The one thing I found a little off, perhaps, is the female lead. She’s supposed to be independent, strong and smart, but in the game she comes across as a tool only there to help further the story line. In her very limited role, she’s reduced to saying a few lines that don’t really land all that well. Frankly, she just annoyed me.

They do try to remedy this somewhat in the next chapter, but it felt too late at that point. I think maybe (in case any developers are reading this) it could save her if I got to play her as the primary character, through the same puzzles, switching her and Bwana’s roles around. That way you could do a second run through the puzzles and double the playtime of the game and spend more time in the universe. Just a thought.

Anyways. Love it!
