Organize anything, together

Looking to get your professional and personal life organised? Try Trello. Thanks to its versatility, this popular project management tool allows you to easily switch between delegating work-related tasks and planning family holidays.

What makes Trello so unique? How open-ended it is. Your tasks appear as cards you can organise in tidy vertical lists or arrange free-form (just like sticky notes on a whiteboard). Shuffle cards around, assign them to people and collaborate on shared tasks with ease. And when your plans inevitably change (some things even Trello can’t plan for), your cards and lists are as fluid as you need them to be.

A card-based system makes for an easy-to-use and visually appealing organisation strategy.

On Mac, open as many boards as you’d like across different teams and projects. Quickly add ideas to your team’s design board, then check off a chore on your family to-do list.

The calendar view makes it easy to tackle time-sensitive projects. View all of your upcoming task cards with their due dates, and mark items complete as you go.

Categorise cards as you create them.

Trello lets you swiftly add visuals to cards, including formatting text with Markdown syntax – for example, to make a word bold, simply add double asterisks before and after it. And when you add a web link to a card, it will automatically populate with a preview of the site.

Another nice touch: If you’ve copied something to your clipboard, Trello automatically asks whether you want to add it to a card when you click the attachments icon – helpful for adding photos and links to your travel bucket list.
