Herdum personal safety eco-system takes a quantum leap that marks the convergence of state-of-the-art disruptive digital technologies and innovative business models.
One of the best ways to inhibit crime is by quick identification, preferably before it takes place, followed by an immediate and targeted response from the authorities and/or society. Herdum’s INTELLIGENT RESPONSIVE APPLICATION (‘IRA’) is used to detect threats in real time and to respond immediately to enhance safety for all.
IRA Herdum empowers people to activate an emergency SOS ANYWHERE with their smart phone or with their wearable IRA Smart Button. Users have access to the Bluetooth ‘PRESS’ panic button and are eligible to subscribe to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) hands-free voice activated version.
Herdum creates a wide spectrum and seamless matrix of designated responders that react in real-time to an emergency SOS – we call them Angels. Angels include assistance from their loved ones, from nearby people, from good Samaritans (aka Angels) and from all statutory and contracted Responders:

Emergency & Personalized Contacts, Near & Dear Friends: Receives an SMS that contains the mobile number and GPS location, time and date when the emergency SOS was activated.
Police: Sends an SMS to a Police response centre that contains the mobile number and GPS location, time and date when the emergency SOS was activated, plus in-App notification to all Beat Police or Patrollers within Angel Area.

Civilian Defence Network (CDN): Notification via Herdum Security Portal used by CDN plus in-App notification to all guards within Angel Area.

Residential Welfare Associations (RWA): Notification via Herdum Security Portal used by RWA plus in-App notification to all RWA guards active within Angel Area.

Neighbourhood Watch (NHW): Notification via Herdum Security Portal used by NHW plus in-App notification to all NHW patrols active within Angel Area.

Special Volunteer Angels: in-App notification to all Common Angels and Trusted Angels active within Angel Area.
Security Service Provider (SSP): Contract with a SSP and have access to other SSP Responders on the Herdum Platform via the HerdumNet. Notification to SSP Control Room via Herdum Security Portal plus in-App notification to SSP Responders active within Angel Area.
An in-App notification contains the mobile number, time and date when emergency SOS was activated and GPS location of the user with access to an online map with the quickest access route to the user.
Users can opt for a Fixed Angel Radius (0.5 km) or a User Configurable Angel Radius (up to 10 km) to determine the Angel response area around them. An Angel Radius provides users with the flexibility and ability to optimally configure the response radius of Angels.
Users are eligible to subscribe for the IRA Intelligent Camera Controller with x1 | x2 | x4 camera configurations. The AI enabled cameras automatically trigger an in-App alarm if it records a perimeter intrusion event.
Users are eligible to subscribe for the IRA Sentinels, intelligent Internet of Things (IoT) digital alarms that automatically activates – if within pre-determined range of the emergency SOS. The nearest IRA Sentinel activates if located within the Sentinel’s Angel Area:
Static Sentinels: Installed in public and private places, such as homes, office and factory buildings, all types of facilities, streets and stations, parks, stadiums and more
Mobile Sentinels: Mounted in private vehicles, taxi’s, buses, train coaches or other public transport
