Karosta... It’s a part of Liepaja, but at the same time - a world in its own right. It is an
amazing, paradoxical and unique place not just in the history and architecture of
Latvia, but whole world. Karosta is one of the most exceptional sights in Latvia. You
may like or dislike it, but it certainly will not leave you indifferent.

This place was chosen at the end of the 19th century for the military objectives of the
