Description

Plinky helps you easily save links from any device so you can enjoy them later.

With Plinky’s share extension on iPhone and iPad or your favorite browser’s extensions you can save articles, videos, social media posts, and more with just one tap.

VIEW YOUR SAVED LINKS
View all of your saved links or search through your links when you're ready to come back to them. You can even pin links to the top of your home feed for easy access.

ORGANIZE YOUR LINKS
Use Folders and Tags to organize your links based on common themes.

Not sure where to start? Choose from suggested tags including: news, videos, recipes, entertainment, fitness, games, productivity, and more.

SYNC YOUR LINKS
Connect with other apps to save links to Plinky from Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Zapier, and more. And available in the Mac App Store, Plinky Mini makes it easy to save links on your Mac.

CUSTOMIZE PLINKY
You can make Plinky yours by customizing how your links, tags, and folders look and feel. Everyone has their preferences and Plinky respects that, you can change how everything looks from colors to design to layout. This makes Plinky *your* tool, whether you want an inbox for your links, a place for links to read later, or your personal archive of the web.

SHORTCUTS
Anything you can do in Plinky you can do in Shortcuts, allowing you to build powerful workflows that use your links saved in Plinky with other apps, or use other apps to save links in Plinky. These work on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, or from Spotlight and Siri. It’s never been easier to save or find a link no matter where you are or what you’re doing.

SAVE LINKS FROM ANYWHERE
If Plinky’s share extension on iPhone and iPad, browser extensions, and custom integrations aren’t enough, Plinky also supports an API for developers to save links how they want to save links.

What’s New

Version 2.1

Welcome to Plinky 2.1, a fun update focused on reading, fixes, and ⊹ nice touches ⊹

⊹°⊹ Features ⊹°⊹

⤷ You can now choose to open links in Safari’s Reader Mode, for a cleaner reading experience. This isn’t a full offline reader mode yet (that's coming in the future), but it should make many webpages that are littered with ads much more readable.

⤷ A new…sletter from Plinky, Links You’ll Love. I'll deliver a nice weekend treat, directly into your inbox. Three heartwarming, thought-provoking, and enjoyable links to read, along with a few funny posts from the internet straight to your inbox. I just thought it would be nice to curate a few articles for Plinky users to read. :)

You can sign up in Plinky's Settings screen, on the new features screen, or at links.plinky.app.

⊹°⊹ Smaller Improvements ⊹°⊹

- There is now an Archived Links Folder, letting you simply view just the links you’ve archived.

- The Settings screen has gotten a little face-lift, to make updating your preferences clearer and easier.

- There is now a live counter showing you how many links will be displayed on the app icon badge when you select or deselect Folders and Tags/Archived/Unsorted links.

- There are five new deeplinks, including three to open screens in Settings. You can now open the Link Customization Screen, App Icon Badge Settings Screen, and the Save Screen Preferences Screen from any automation. You can also open any link in Plinky's browser, or link to Plinky's newsletter (though I'm not sure why you would do that).

- The Include Untagged Links button no longer a button, but a simpler toggle.

- Fixed a long-standing bug where it wasn’t possible to unselect certain tags that were selected.

- When deleting a tag or folder that was currently selected, the tag or folder will now properly be unselected after deletion.

- There should be performance and data consistency improvements when saving a link.

- Sounds are now disabled by default.

- And last but not least, I’ve added more logging to make it easier for me to debug any problems that may arise.
