When Power Rangers: Legacy Wars released earlier this year, we got a fantastic player-versus-player fighting game that featured a mashup of characters from nearly every Power Rangers series, both on television and in the movies. But it was missing a little...something.
Scratch that. It was missing a huge something. Colossal. Gargantuan. And in the latest update to the game, we’re getting what every Power Rangers fan knows and loves, and what every Legacy Wars player has been craving since day one: Megazord battles.
Enjoy Power Rangers, either openly or secretly? Then you know half the fun’s when the battle escalates to a gigantic scale. The bad guys summon a 30-storey-tall monster; the good guys merge together to form the Megazord. And then they fight.
Power Rangers: Legacy Wars lets us all live out these kaiju fantasies as the first looming fighters enter the fray. Do you have the right stuff to pilot the Dino Megazord or the Thunder Megazord? Or do you want to be the villain and become the towering Mega Goldar from the classic series?
The new update also adds a lot more to the game, including new locations, tweaked fighting mechanics and additional Power Rangers warriors. But you’re really here for the Mega Zord fights, right? Well, you’re getting them in a massive way.
