Description
Find which neighboring squares must be painted and create a beautiful picture! Each puzzle consists of a grid containing clues in various places. The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting the squares around each clue so that the number of painted squares, including the square with the clue, matches the value of the clue.
Fill-a-Pix are exciting logic puzzles that form whimsical pixel-art pictures when solved. Challenging, deductive and artistic, this original Conceptis puzzle offers the ultimate mix of logic, art and fun while providing solvers with many hours of mentally stimulating entertainment.
The game features a unique fingertip cursor which enables playing large puzzle grids with ease and precision: to fill a square, move cursor to the desired location and tap anywhere on the screen. To fill multiple squares, press and hold fingertip until cursor fills the square and start dragging to neighboring squares. The game also features a powerful Smart-fill cursor for quick, single-tap filling of all remaining empty squares around a clue.
To help see the puzzle progress, graphic previews in the puzzle list show the progress of all puzzles in a volume as they are being solved. A Gallery view option provides these previews in a larger format.
For more fun, Fill-a-Pix contains no ads and includes a Weekly Bonus section providing an extra free puzzle each week.

This game is fantastic. It is absolutely brilliant. For those, who like minesweeper-like challenges, this game is a must!
It is, however, a lot less random than minesweeper. Some say fill-a-pix is random or isn't logical - those people are wrong. Yes, in 1/10 games, you end up in a situation, where looking at mere numbers leaves you with 2 possible outcomes, just like in minesweeper, but those situations are not nearly as common as they are in the latter game. Every game is logical and can be solved by starting from one end or another (or from both).
If it's so good, then why only 3 stars? Well... As an app, this game is, unfortunately, a failure :(.
After just an hour of playing, my iPad gets CRAZY hot. I mean burning hot. The battery drainage from playing just 1 hour is 48%. I couldn't believe it, so I recharged my device, restarted it, unplugged it and started only fill-a-pix. And Jesus H. Christ, does this thing consume battery. In fact, when my iPad is plugged in, and the app is combined with Spotify playing in the background, the charger doesn't produce enough power to recharge the device :). Yesterday I used the iPad at work and paid it no attention, untill I saw that I had been stuck at 24% for 5 hours. Then I realized that the iPad is burning hot. I checked the running processes and after closing fill-a-pix, my device cooled down in 20 minutes and the recharging process continued normally.
In conclusion, those who seek for a fun brainteaser, this game is for you, absolutely! I recommend it with both hands. But as an app, this game has a loooooong way to go. I hope to see an update addressing the battery drainage and temperature issue very soon!
