Description

Winner of the 2021 iF Design Award 2021. Bluelink 2.0 takes linking your smartphone to your Hyundai to another level: The new Bluelink app enhances your Hyundai driving experience even further with a whole new look and even more Connected Car features. Find your Hyundai, or use the map feature to find parking, fueling stations, nearby restaurants, or other points-of-interest. Then simply send the destination to the navigation system in your car.

You can also use your phone as a remote to lock or unlock your car, and, if you drive a Hyundai electric vehicle, the app lets you control charging, as well as cooling or heating.

Here’s a list of our most popular connected car features:
1. Find my car: Never forget where you parked again. A map pins your Hyundai’s exact location.
2. Send to car: Find parking spaces, fuel stations, restaurants or other points of interest and send the destination to your in-car navigation system.
3. Vehicle report: Monthly reviews of vehicle starts, driving and idle time, driving distance.
4. My trips: See a summary of previous trips including journey time, distance driven, average and top speeds.
5. Vehicle status: Check in on fuel or charging level, doors and windows, heat or air conditioning, and battery level and lamps.
6. Remote door lock/unlock: Lock and unlock your vehicle.
7. Remote climate control (EV only): Set the temperature and activate the air conditioning remotely.
8. Remote charging (EV & PHEV): Check and control the charging process.
9. View around My Vehicle: Turn on the camera in the outside mirror to see what it currently sees.
10. Alarm: Receive notifications when the door locks are compromised.
11. User Profile: Save your profile and car settings to the Bluelink-Cloud for backups and transfers to a new Hyundai.
12. Valet Parking Mode (select models): Monitor your car (location, driving time, driving distance and top speed) while somebody else is driving.
13. Last Mile Navigation: If your destination can’t be reached by car, the app can take you there on foot.
14: Calendar: Sync your phone’s calendar with the app.
15. Personalisation: Turn features on and off and customise your app’s home screen.

What’s New

Version 2.0.23

Bluelink Store, Hyundai Pay and Bluelink Subscription are now available in the app. Product availability may vary depending on your country, vehicle type and model year.
Your Bluelink subscription status and the Bluelink Store tab are now shown on the home screen for quick access.
When opening the new version for the first time, you’ll need to log in with your Hyundai Account (same ID and password) again. This ensures you can access the new features without needing to log in separately.

Unusable

Previously, I had problems with charging. Now the status page is empty and won’t load vehicle data. Customer support page is not accessible and shows “backup not found” error.

Please make the app useable already!

Developer Response ,

Dear User, thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds frustrating to deal with these charging issues.

There are a couple of things you might want to try:

Double-check Settings: Ensure all settings, including time and days, are correctly configured in the app.

Update the App: Make sure you're using the latest version of the app. Sometimes, updates fix bugs like these.

Hard Reset: Try performing a hard reset of your vehicle's infotainment system to clear any glitches.

Contact Support: If the problem persists, it might be best to contact customer support at bluelink@hyundai-europe.com for further assistance.

Hopefully, these steps help improve the situation. Thank you for your patience.

Best regards, Your Bluelink Team

Remote

The remote control is useless and pointless! Only buttons for opening and closing doors?! That's all?! Where is the engine start button? And other buttons? WTF?!…

Developer Response ,

Dear User, remote engine start is no feature in the European continent at all. Remote climate control is available, but only for fully electric vehicles. Best regards, your Bluelink Team
