Ratings and Reviews
Gets worse over time
Manual used to be decent back in the version 1 days. However it’s less manual and more automatic with new versions. As of 3.1 it keeps turning on auto mode and changing my settings. Even when it doesn’t suddenly turn on auto mode it shows giant white text over the viewfinder imploring me to turn on auto mode. No way to just turn off auto mode completely.
In previous versions you could change ISO settings etc quite quickly manually. Now that quickness only remains for focus. Other settings are now some kind of “hold, wait and pray” mode. It’s much slower than the old UI so forget quick photo taking of a fleeting moment. Also it’s broken - that’s the pray part - because the direction of the setting change seems random. I hold down ISO and pull down. First it starts decreasing - then mid way through it starts increasing without me moving my finger - then decreasing again. There’s no consistency either, seems random.
I certainly don’t feel in control when using Manual - even less so than with the default Camera app. Quite sad really.
Not good
Please be informed, that you can't shoot in "manual" mode with this app!
Idea
Very good app, but i would use shoot video, it's only shoot image.. Future i hope, it will be update. :)
