MindDoc app is a risk class I medical product according to Annex VIII, Rule 11 of the MDR (REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices).

INTENDED MEDICAL PURPOSE

The MindDoc app allows users to log signs and symptoms of common mental illnesses in real time over long periods of time.

The application enables users to self-manage symptoms and related problems by providing evidence-based transdiagnostic courses and exercises to help identify, understand, and manage symptoms through self-initiated behavior change.

The application provides users with regular guidance on whether further medical or psychotherapeutic evaluation is indicated through a general feedback on emotional health.

The MindDoc app explicitly does not replace a medical or psychotherapeutic assessment or treatment, but can prepare and support the path to psychiatric or psychotherapeutic treatment.

Hi. Why you don’t have this app in russian langeage? It is big market and good opportunity to develop for you. And it is really good and helpfull app for persons with depression. If you are interested, I can translate it.

Currently, we are working on a number of new features and, unfortunately, it's hard to say when to expect other languages. But thank you for your feedback. I have been using the app for two months now and it was all for free. Honestly, now that 90 % of the content is for a fee I have to say that it isn’t worth it. I like the app, but frankly the calender that shows my mood through months is the most useful thing on this app. I don’t see myself paying 4,99 for insights when I got like four of them in two months and all the others were basic weekly reports giving minimum information. I think I will soon stop using the app and maybe in the future come back and see what changes has been made and how the app has developed. Bye for now, Moodpath.

We are trying to make Moodpath accessible to as many people as possible and are currently testing out different subscription models, such as paying for courses and exercises or some functions of the tracking itself. We want to offer most of the core content of the app free of charge, while there will also be some additional features that require a subscription for a fee. With this support from our users, we can insure high quality content, design, and technical soundness of the app and make sure it's available in the App Store in the long run.
Unfortunately, the costs for health apps are still very rarely reimbursed by health insurance. But we are working on it and hope that soon clinics, doctors and psychotherapists will see Moodpath as a meaningful offer for their patients and offer it for free to their patients. We are already in contact with some clinics and health insurance companies about this. In the meantime, we are looking for support from our users and other solutions and compromises. Please let us know what price you'd find fair for the content provided or what kind of content or features you're missing in the app to justify the monthly subscription price.
