Amazon Prime Video for Mac brings the service’s acclaimed original series and films, Hollywood premieres and library of movies and TV shows to the big screen... on your desk.

With your subscription, you can stream hit series such as the epic fantasy The Wheel of Time, the twisted superhero tale The Boys, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan starring John Krasinski, the desert island adventure The Wilds and the critically acclaimed The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The app also lets you dive into Amazon Original movies including Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, the Golden Globe–winning Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and Eddie Murphy’s Coming 2 America.

You can explore the entire Prime Video library – including titles for rent or purchase – on the Home tab. To see only movies and shows available at no charge with your Amazon Prime subscription, turn on Free To Me.

And don’t miss the X-Ray feature, which displays cast information, music lists and trivia for the current scene you’re viewing. (Just click X-Ray in the upper left of the screen.) It’s like watching with a friend with an exceedingly vast knowledge of pop culture.

Want to enjoy a show on the go? Download your favourite films and TV shows to your Mac for offline viewing. And don’t forget to visit the Settings screen (under My Stuff) to configure the app to automatically download new episodes as they’re released (and delete them once you’ve watched them).
