I love it, but I have a suggession
The app is one of the best and most used in my phone, yet I have a suggession that will make it very easy to use the app, it goes for the website as well.
I suggest that you should add filtering option is the search, so for example I was looking for an astronomy book about mars, when I type mars in the search, most of the results I get are fiction book, so I think it will be very convenient if I have the option to filter the search to science books, so I would get my desired results easier.
Thanks a lot for the great invention of goodreads, you really rock :))
mixed feelings
It’s honestly a great app but considering how famous it is, I don’t understand why it has such a bad user interface. You can’t reply to people’s comments unless you’re on the website (and even then the reply system is weird. it includes the person’s entire comment before showing your reply. and either way the person never gets a notif that someone replied to their comment). speaking of notifs, they need to fix that. notifs are often delayed and lag (even if you click on the notif it still appears red and unopened?). You can’t make extra shelves unless you’re on the website. Honestly it’s very annoying how the updates are never actually useful.
Needs urgent improvement
I love the app.. but you guys have to find a quick solution to the lag happens frequently while using or even opening the app.. it just freezes
And you need to add some filters too
