To make an in-app purchase of an Office 365 Home or Personal subscription, open the app, go to Settings and tap on Upgrade next to your Outlook.com or Hotmail.com account. Subscriptions begin at USD 6.99 a month in the US, and can vary by region. With an Office 365 subscription, you get 1 TB of storage for each user, access to all features in Word, Excel and PowerPoint on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and you can install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote on PCs or Macs.

Office 365 subscriptions purchased from the app will be charged to your iTunes account and will automatically renew within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period, unless auto-renewal is disabled beforehand. To manage your subscriptions or to disable auto-renewal, after purchase, go to your iTunes account settings. A subscription cannot be cancelled during the active subscription period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Bad choices are a bad choice

Well; this is not actually a review... it is a response to the cluttered weird new icon. In fact I would advise any reader of this to download this lovely app to truly stay connected to your office365 or exchange environment.

It’s not affecting the application or the user experience at all, I know; but it hurts the eyes... I thought it is a mistake when I first saw it on my home screen when I needed to check my email while away from my machine. But now I guess the marketing team took a choice, and a bad one for that matter.

If in a dream world, someone from Microsoft is reading this rant, I would advise you to revert to the previous icon, and if you really want to make a change to refresh the overhaul user experience... change the circle to square, and recolor the office line icons.

Lots of problems after iOS upgrade to 16.2

Ever since the last update The application freezes I tried resetting the app, reconfiguring the mail but that wouldn’t solve the problem . I never have this problem with Apple mail

Humble app and barely delivers functionality

Having been a Samsung user for more than 10 years, I'm actually well used to using email on mobile. Outlook was supposed to be the solution to my many issues, but in all fairness it is simply an email viewer. Calendar has improved a lot since several years back but the primary functions are still cumbersome and the number of updates that Microsoft rolls out is evidence of how bad this is.

Unfortunately this is a necessary evil and I'm stuck with it. But the 2 stars are all it earns. One for basic functionality and 1 for being livable somewhat. 2stars comparing to both the Samsung experience and Outlook on Windows ofc.
