Extremely Disappointing Experience
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Perplexity’s customer service and their handling of subscriptions. After being offered a one-year free Pro subscription, I was suddenly informed that my access was suspended because I supposedly did not meet the eligibility criteria for a promotional offer.
What’s worse is that there was no prior warning or clear explanation in their Terms and Conditions that I was violating any rules. The email I received was abrupt, unprofessional, and instead of resolving the issue, they suggested I switch to a paid plan—completely ignoring the fact that I was offered a year for free in the first place!
This kind of treatment shows a lack of transparency and respect for users. If they can suspend subscriptions so carelessly, how can anyone trust them with paid plans? I would not recommend this service until they fix their customer support and become more transparent about their policies.
Answer size
I really like that the app is designed to produce short answers with the best amount of knowledge but some people like myself want the answers in a more consolidated manner. I recommend for further improvements, that the app uses the required input question as a reference to kinda deep the app and should provide a consolidated answer however if the question is kinda basic then short answers should be the answer.
