Description

The TK-Doc app offers the following functions:

• Medical advice: A team of more than 80 doctors from around 30 specialisations is on hand to provide answers to your medical questions. With the live chat, you can get medical advice quickly and easily. You can also share documents, such as medical findings and prescriptions, with the doctors. Alternatively, you can book a video appointment with a doctor to discuss your concerns face to face. These services are available Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Telephone consultations are also available around the clock, 365 days a year.

• TK online consultation: The online consultation is the very first fully digital service offering exclusively remote treatment. The doctors decide on a case-by-case basis whether your symptoms are suitable for remote treatment. In addition to a diagnosis and treatment recommendations, a statement of fitness for work can also be issued during the consultation if necessary.

• Symptom checker: Fever, headache, stomach-ache? The symptom checker provides you with information on your symptoms quickly. Simply answer a series of questions and the tool generates a list of illnesses which best match your symptoms. This allows you to better assess your health problems and prepare for a consultation with your doctor.

• Laboratory value checker: With this tool you can check whether your lab values are OK. Just enter your data to find out what illnesses could be behind unusual values. The tool also tells you which other lab values are important in this context, which measures could be necessary and much more.

• ICD search: Find out what the ICD abbreviations, e.g., "J06.9", on your statement of fitness for work mean.

• In addition to medical terms, the more common names are also shown. For example, the code "J06.9." stands for "Acute upper respiratory infection, unspecified", or, put more simply, a cold. You can also display the code for a diagnosis.

• ePrescription: With the ePrescription function, you will be able to send your digitally issued medical aid prescriptions directly to medical aid providers. You can find doctors who issue ePrescriptions in the TK-Doc practice search. Medical aid providers participating in the project can be found at egesundheit-deutschland.de. You can also find further information about this project here.

We are constantly adding new functions to the TK-Doc app. That is why we need your ideas and comments. Please email your feedback to: gesundheitsapps@tk.de. Thank you!
