I have lifted weights and avoided cardio like the plague most of my life. Recently, I’ve been increasing my distance on indoor treadmills, especially in fitness classes like Orangetheory. But like anything in my millennial life, if I didn’t take a pic/share it, it didn’t happen. Apple fitness, running apps, and Orangetheory native apps share too much, too little, or just look like garbage, so that’s where Any Distance has been a huge game changer for me. You can share the details you want, hide the details you don’t AND there’s not a detailed map with the location of your run for creeps to learn your patterns, but rather a beautiful, non-identifying 3D path of your run that looks amazing. I now LOVE sharing my workouts with Any Distance - particularly runs (who am I???). I’ve intentionally spent more time on the treadmill to watch my improvements in pace and to get closer to my annual miles goal. And now, dare I say it, I even look forward to running outside just to earn medals and share my workouts to social. 10/10 get this app.

The AnyDistance app is what I’ve been looking for in a fitness tracking / sharing app, it puts privacy at the forefront of the development, allows you to build a close knit community of others looking to stay active, while simultaneously making it fun through digital rewards and more. It’s also by far the best looking design for sharing your workouts on other platforms with the incorporation of 3D and AR graphic overlays. The sharing graphics alone, have had people messaging me to join the community. Highly recommend building your active community with AnyDistance!

The AnyDistance app is what I’ve been looking for in a fitness tracking / sharing app, it puts privacy at the forefront of the development, allows you to build a close knit community of others looking to stay active, while simultaneously making it fun through digital rewards and more. It’s also by far the best looking design for sharing your workouts on other platforms with the incorporation of 3D and AR graphic overlays. I started using this app around the time it first came out and it was just so good and different from any other running apps I’ve used before. I’m not someone who really recommends apps or anything to friends but this was different, I was sharing this app with my close friends and being able to share details of my hikes and runs only motivated me to want to add more friends. I also just really like their merch and how creative it is while stil being a really nice quality.I really miss this app. It doesn’t really work like it used to anymore and I hope they update/maintain it again and maybe restock their merch.
