Block Safari?
Is there a way to totally block Safari? Not only specific webs?

Works fine, but few apps, no VPN scheduling and no device syncing
TL;DL
The app works fine and can be configured to block almost any service and program when and what needs to be blocked. The price is also reasonable. I’d rather pay more and have an easier to use app.
VPN
Problem one comes from a poor VPN implementation. If you do not keep your device connected to AppBlock’s VPN, the scheduled blocking functionality will not work.
The app is –as of Feb 2022– not capable of disconnecting from the VPN when it is not needed and connecting back whenever a scheduled block starts.
Maybe this could be solved using Apple’s VPN On Demand Rules?
Apps
Problem two is that there are only 26 preconfigured apps you can decide to block. Changes are you will miss a ton of apps you use. You can block them adding the needed URLs, but this is no straightforward process in many cases.
Device syncing
There is no syncing option between devices using iCloud or another service. That means you’ll need to manually add dozens and dozens of URLs on each device. Cumbersome process to say the least. Of course you might want different profiles or schedule on different devices, too.
Ideally the app would work across iOS, iPadOS and macOS.
