Detect the musical key of any tune whether in the studio or on the go. Instantly share and sync the musical key with your Auto-Tune session running on your computer DAW.
Auto-Key detects the key by capturing a few seconds of audio and returns the most likely musical key. It also returns the diatonic key.
You can use Auto-Key mobile on any audio coming from a speaker or from an acoustic instrument or a voice. Tap on the Auto-Key logo in the app home screen to find the key.
Auto-Key Mobile was developed by Antares Audio Technologies, the inventors of Auto-Tune®.

Not accurate at all unfortunately!
I 'm changing my review cause after extensive tests I find the app not to be very accurate. When playing a simple C major scale on a digital piano it interprets it as G major. Playing a A majeur scale on a perfectly tuned cello gives me a E major scale. Sometimes It does read the right tonality but in a row of 20 scale playing ( with piano, cello and guitar) it guessed it correctly 9 times out of 20. Weirdly, it seems to be more acurate when guessing the tonality of a whole song. This app needs to be fine tuning really! And yes, volume was loud enough and phone close to the source instruments. I'll be happy to provide a video of that to the dev. But anyway, hard to complain since it s a free app.
