BirdRisk puts bird-strike risk on the map — the one layer your EFB doesn't have.
Bird strikes are a real hazard for general aviation, and no flight app shows you where the risk actually is. BirdRisk does one thing, and does it well: it turns open and scientific data into a single, glanceable bird-strike risk field over the terrain you're flying.
BirdRisk informs — it does not advise. It never tells you whether, when or where to fly. You, the pilot in command, stay in command. It only shows you the risk so you can see it before it sees you.

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT
The risk isn't a guess. It's a calibrated model built on the real drivers of strikes in Iberian skies — soaring raptors over midday thermals, migratory corridors at dawn and dusk, wetlands and colonies — weighted by what actually brings aircraft down, not by a flat rule of thumb.
WHO IT'S FOR
VFR and general-aviation pilots — light aircraft, ULM/microlight, autogyro, glider — who want one more thing on their side before they line up.

BirdRisk shows bird-strike risk only. It is not a navigation, air-traffic, weather or flight-safety system, and it does not replace official sources (NOTAMs, ATC, weather, AIS) or your own judgement.
