The BlueZoo Foot Traffic Analytics (FTA) mobile application is part of the BlueZoo family of hardware and software products designed to measure the presence and movement of people. BlueZoo solutions measure foot traffic, including numbers of visitors, visits, dwell time, unique visitors, the movement of visitors among sensors, and other advanced metrics. The primary management and analytics platform for the family is a web dashboard available here: dashboard.bluezoo.io/login.
BlueZoo FTA is used to on-board new BlueZoo Wi-Fi sensors and to reconfigure sensors already deployed. The app is also used to collect “ground truth” to allow for the precise calibration of the sensor in its environment.
Configuration of sensors includes the following:
• Naming the sensor location
• Assigning the sensor to a geographical space
• Configuring Wi-Fi backhaul for cloud communication
• Calibrating the sensor to detect persons only in the target detection zone
Accurate calibration uses “ground truth” collected by the person performing the configuration. That person or persons record of the number of people present in the detection zone at a moment in time (“headcount snapshots”), or the number of people moving across thresholds into and out of the target detection zone over a period of time (“threshold counts”).
To use this mobile application, you need credentials (username and password) and an appropriate role (installer or ground truth collector). Threshold Count Audits
•Accuracy is calculated with existing counts at the conclusion of the audit collection period allowing for thresholds to be left uncounted
•Ground truth collector threshold counts made outside of the audit collection period are discarded and not included in the location count total. Counts made within the period are retained and included in the location total
•Added a “Recheck thresholds for counts” button which recalculates the accuracy using any newly available ground truth collector counts
•Added additional audit process information on the startup
•Sensor visit count is aggregated over 15 minutes
•Bugfix: Location without space loading issue
Audit Report
•Shows the target sensor location’s name, path, MAC address, and selected threshold if applicable

•Allows multiple input types for the head counter (typing, + buttons)

•Users can now claim a threshold from the Threshold Info page
