Resize photos to any size up to 8192 px and videos to any size up to 4k, reformat, orient and share them. Informative UI, templates and flexible settings are designed to facilitate these tasks.

DESQUEEZE FEATURES:

Resize Photos and Videos
• Enter a new size in pixels, aspect ratios, and percentages
• Resize in three different ways: Stretch, Ratio Clip, and Ratio Fit
• Choose between Normal and Smart size for more flexible resizing
• Batch resize an unlimited number of photos and videos
• Reuse up to 10 recent resizing tasks with one tap
• De-squeeze anamorphic photos to achieve a natural look
• Preserve Live Photo format when supported

Import Sources inside Desqueeze
• Select photos and videos from the Photo Library
• Select any full album from the Photo Library
• Select multiple photos and videos from the Files app
• Take a picture with the camera

Reformat Photos
• Choose between PNG, JPEG, HEIC, and TIFF image formats
• Specify compression quality for JPEG and HEIC formats
• Select Auto format to reuse the original image format when possible
• Specify photo DPI

Reformat Videos
• Choose between MP4, QuickTime (MOV), and M4V video formats
• Select Auto format to reuse the original video format when possible
• Specify video bitrate

Edit Photos and Videos
• Flip and rotate images or videos
• Choose a fill color for Ratio Fit mode
• Adjust position and offset for Ratio Fit and Ratio Clip modes

Templates
• Use a universal set of built-in templates to resize photos and videos for specific platforms and standards, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more
• Create personal templates for your own tasks
• Duplicate standard templates and modify personal templates

Photo Viewer and Video Player
• Preview photos or play videos on the Result screen (long press a photo or video to preview)

Share Photos and Videos
• Save results to the Photo Library or Files app
• Share results via Instagram, Mail, Facebook, Messages, etc
• Use original or custom names for shared results

In version 4.0.0, we've added new features, expanded import sources, improved the UI and stability, and fixed multiple bugs and crashes:

The main screen has been completely redesigned to improve access to templates and recently edited items:
• Added a Recents section to reuse previous edits as templates.
• Added 90+ templates for common tasks, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and anamorphic de-squeeze.
• Introduced a dedicated section for user templates.
• Added a search bar to quickly find templates by name or size.

The new selection screen for photos and videos now offers more options for choosing your media:
• Introduced a more functional screen to select photos and videos from the Photo Library.
• Added the option to select photos and videos from the Files app.
• Added the option to select any full album for processing.
• Added a camera window to quickly capture and resize photos directly from the app.

Improved the Size Input screen:
• Added the option to quickly switch between pixels, aspect ratios, and relative sizes.

Updated Smart Size behavior for square photos and videos:
• Square items are now treated as landscape when calculating the target pixel size.

Improved Summary screen:
• Added the option to enable or disable Auto-save to the Photo Library.
• Added the option to preserve Live Photos format when supported.
• Moved “Save as template” to the “…” menu on the top bar, consolidating all other template actions.
• Added the option to create a new album for results when a full album is selected.

Reworked Results screen for better stability and reduced resource consumption:
• Updated the structure to store results locally in the app when Auto-save is disabled.
• Minimized disk space usage and eliminated redundant duplication of results while sharing.
• Added the option to save results to the Photo Library.

Fixed multiple bugs and crashes.
