Ducati Connect is the perfect companion for the Multistrada V4 line-up.
Ducati Connect is the perfect companion for the Multistrada V4 S, Multistrada V4 S Sport, Multistrada V4 Grand Tour, Multistrada V4 Rally, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Multistrada V4 RS.
After pairing, Ducati Connect will wirelessly establish a connection with your bike and enable smartphone mirroring.
With Ducati Connect you may:
• Search your contacts or type a phone number using the keypad;
• Play your favourite music by scrolling through folders, artists, albums and playlists;
• Get directions with the Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps app installed on your smartphone.
All easily accessed from the Multistrada dashboard without ever taking your hands off the handlebars!
Notes:
• Ducati Connect is compatible only with the Multistrada V4 S, Multistrada V4 S Sport, Multistrada V4 Grand Tour, Multistrada V4 Rally, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Multistrada V4 RS.
• The "Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps" has to be separately installed on your smartphone to enable the navigation functions on your Multistrada dashboard. The Premium navigation license will be activated free of charge following the first connection.
• Continued use of GPS tracking, Bluetooth communication and Wi-Fi mirroring may reduce the battery life of your smartphone.

Mala gestión de recursos
Al igual que indican otros usuarios, si bien en la teoría su utilización debería ser idílica, nada más lejos de la realidad. Fulmina la batería del móvil requiriendo ir continuamente cargando a pesar de establecer conexión inalámbrica porque requiere tener la pantalla encendida y la app en primer plano. Muy mal por parte de Audi vw al escoger esta plataforma en detrimento de CarPlay x ejemplo conocedores d dichas restricciones, pudiendo ofrecer de paso un plus de conectividad y experiencia al usuario pudiendo gestionar otras apps compatibles con CarPlay como Waze, Google maps, Spotify, WhatsApp,…. Y un largo etc.

Obsoleto y sin evolución
Soy poseedor de una Multi V4 2024 y veo, tras varios años de la app en el mercado, que no hay manera de que solucionen los problemas de este sistema debiendo tener la pantalla siempre conectada, con el consecuente gasto de batería y temperatura del móvil. Tampoco hay desarrollo para que la app pueda trabajar en segundo plano mientras consultes un mensaje, un correo, un WhatsApp… En definitiva te lo publicitan como un sistema fantástico, y al final, debes acabar montando un navegador externo para viajar con cierta comodidad y dignidad. Una moto de este valor no puede tener esta pobreza tecnológica.

Por el momento Ducati Connect no dispone de esta funcionalidad, sin embargo Ducati junto con sus proveedores está trabajando activamente para mejorar el servicio ofrecido.

Gasta mucha batería
Le doy 2 estrellas porque la aplicación gasta mucha batería al tener la pantalla siempre encendida, porque al ponerla en segundo plano o al apagarse la pantalla se desconecta del de la moto ….
