No Internet connection is required to use e-Sword X.
e-Sword X initially installs with the King James Bible and the King James with Strong's numbers study Bible, the Strong's Lexicon, Smith's Bible dictionary, F. B. Meyer devotional commentary, and the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge cross references. There are over one hundred additional Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, lexicons, reference books and devotionals that you can download and add to your library absolutely free!
Also available are some "locked" resources which must be purchased from their publisher. These are copyright and licensing requirements which are unavoidable.
Please note that e-Sword X is an *ENGLISH* release (but does include Spanish UI localization.) There are dozens of non-English Bibles available, but all other content is in English.

Beatiful
I have been an user of the e-Sword bible ever since it first came out, I love it’s functionality and it’s ample tools and resources. So when the e_Sword X came out it made me as happy as a dog with a new bone. As a bible scholar and teacher I recommend it highly to anyone. The e-Sword X needs some minor touch ups to bring it up to the standard of the PC version, but I think it is heading in the right direction.
The updates in the new version are excellent, my favourite and most used bible study tool, even compared to others I have payed big bucks for. Keep up the good work. You are a blessing to many pastors and believers that cannot afford big expensive software.
I would love the ability to synchronize my study notes with e-Sword HD on my iPad. That would make it the best.
Justo la app que buscaba
Esta es justo la app que buscaba y que esperaba de e-Sword en el mundo Mac. A diferencia de la versión de Windows, esta es de pago, aunque compensa con un diseño más moderno, más configurable y más limpio, además de un excelente soporte por parte del desarrollador. El buscador es cada vez más útil y más completo, las opciones de comparar, la armonía y los pasajes paralelos son sorprendentemente buenas y convenientes para el estudio de pasajes, así como su sencillez de uso.
Por ponerle dos inconvenientes:
- Es complicado encontrar los módulos adecuados, hay que “googlear” bastante para hallarlos. Los módulos que vienen de serie, son insuficientes en el idioma español, aunque esto no creo que sea responsabilidad del desarrollador.
- Serían interesantes más opciones para cambiar el formato de los textos, como la configuración de los márgenes y el interlineado, sobre todo, cuando se aumenta el tamaño de la letra, que da la sensación de que los textos se juntan y se hacen más difíciles de leer.
PODRIA MEJORARSE
ES UNA EXELENTE APLICACIÓM, PERO DEBERÍA INCLUIR MÁS CONTENIDO DE MODULOS EN ESPAÑOL.
