Good and complete but with annoying delay

So many options here. You have a really complete DAW on the go to materialize those ideas which come to you when you don’t have a computer in front of you. Just two annoying things I’ve noticed:

1. Glitchy text: all texts for all the menus have been displayed glitchy when I just opened the app (it wasn’t the first app boot).

2. Some annoying delay when a bluetooth device is connected: I don’t know exactly if this is caused by the app or by the device (in this case, in ear blueetooth headphones). The thing is that with any other activity I’m executing with my phone and the bluetooth headphones connected is satisfactory (delay is not appreciable/significant). But using this app it takes a while from tapping a pad to hear the sound playing.

I hope this review could be useful for future versions. I’ve been making music for 10 years and I think this workflow for a mobile app is so nice and productive!

We have seen the glitchy text happen occasionally and will make sure it’s fixed in an update!

Unfortunately all Bluetooth audio actually has latency by nature and is usually not used in music production contexts for this reason. In many applications compensation is possible, eg. when you watch a video with Bluetooth audio, your device actually delays the video to keep it in sync with the Bluetooth. But of course it’s not possible to do this with real-time tapping on drum pads.

Headphones or speakers that plug directly into your device should not have this issue. If you have a device without a headphone port you would need an iOS audio interface. Hope this helps!

A very creative app despite having with many issues

Awesome app that still isn’t polished. I really wanted to make this my main iOS sampler but it’s just impossible with all the instability issues. The app crashes a lot, the sample randomiser only works when samples aren’t in folder directories, which also makes the app crash because it can’t handle that many samples I guess. Also, whenever I start playing the pads there’s no noticeable latency in the beginning, yet when I start fiddling with the parameters the app starts lagging. It’s a such a shame, because it really is an awesome app, but I’m running it with a 2020 air which has a powerful processor, so it’s clear that the fault is on the app’s side. I’ll keep tuned in to see if any updates solve these issues, but for the meantime I’m getting a refund. Thank you.
