Trying it out and compare to others this was superb
Lots of funky apps of this type. This one is not.
Below is my first review. Here’s my revision. Worked fine on the first try. Then it kicks you subscribe or die on the next one when you hit convert. 2.49 a week for a mp3 converter… delete, beware, don’t hit that button. Yep, I just need to occasionally convert flac files to wav or mp3. I tried a few of these. Some didn’t work. Others wouldn’t share. All looked pretty horrible and had rough UIs. This one works fine but beware of the subscription request. The want a pretty crazy weekly fee for the “pro” version. Of they give a week or so to try it out and then I suspect they are betting you’ll forget to cancel and bim bam boom you’re on the hook for at least a week. Look I’m happy to throw a buck or two at this kind of app, but a weekly subscription? Which brings up another thing. Ever try to get a refund from the App Store? In the EU you have the option of using a right of refusal option. Works great. As far as I can tell this doesn’t exist in the US and UK stores. In these bastions of late stage capitalism you are stuck with begging the Apple gods for a refund if something is not up to snuff or you just change your mind (as one might understandably do due to the inability of actually trying the software). Good luck with getting a refund. Those Apple gods are vengeful, they want there cut. So in a nutshell, use this, it works well, but watch out about the subscription.
