iFretless Bass is a professional virtual instrument that provides bass and guitar players with an expressive fretless playing surface. The layout is like an eight string bass guitar with the notes colored black and white like the keys of a piano. Although it looks different from a guitar neck, bass players will find it surprisingly easy to use.
The app's ability to measure the force of touches on the screen allows it to respond to dynamics and accented notes with a wide range of different tones for each instrument.

Great app BUT...
The app is great, but I am missing some options to personalize the playing surface even more, like choosing the tuning for each “string” and activate/deactivate fretless mode. It would be nice to have those options.

You can disable the fretless mode by setting midi bend range to zero. We also have a dedicated MIDI controller app called velocity keyboard that has more layouts, scales and tunings. You can use that together with iFretless Bass to get more flexible options for the MIDI controller part.
