Description
We get it. You don’t have time to read every single interesting article being shared online. That’s why, since 2019, Later (previously called Abyss) has been the perfect companion to your digital life. With Later, you can save any link from any app or website and read it whenever you’re ready.
Later is available on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It syncs your data via iCloud, which means that everything you do on one device is seamlessly reflected on all of them. Furthermore, your data is only available to you; there are no servers involved, so your data stays 100% private.
Later lets you organize all your important articles between your inbox (things you’ve pending to read) and your archive (things you’ve already read). You can flag links that are important, tag them for better categorization, and even save them offline to read on the go when you don’t have a network connection.
Later lets you bring your previous digital life from services like Pocket, Instapaper, GoodLinks and more. Simply navigate to Later’s settings and tap on “Import/Export”. You’ll be guided on how to bring all your data! Also, Later lets you export all your data in case you’d like to move to another service or keep a backup. By default, Later also saves a daily backup of all your links on your iCloud Drive.

→ Alternative App Icons! Head to the settings to change the default app icon if you wish. The nostalgic ones will be happy, the Abyss icon is making a comeback!
→ Shown the number of links you’re modifying when triggering the context menu for more than one selected link.
→ Fixed an issue where, when saving a link that already exists on your library, the creation date wasn’t updated properly so it wouldn’t show up on the top of the list.
→ Fixed the Twitter contact link that wasn't working.

Sencilla, eficaz y segura
He sido usuaria de Pocket muchos años, pero gracias a las fichas de privacidad que Apple publica desde hace unos meses, descubrí la cantidad de datos privados que Pocket recopila, desde el contenido que guardas hasta tus contactos y mucho más.
Abyss no guarda ningún dato del usuario. La importación a Abyss de lo que tienes guardado en tu Pocket es tan sencilla y rápida que no me dio tiempo ni a verlo 😂. El diseño es limpio, claro y tiene todo lo que usaba y me gustaba de Pocket. Además puedes añadir notas a tus links y verlas en la pantalla de inicio, cosa que me encanta porque me orienta en recordar a primera vista por qué guardé tal cosa.
Mis felicitaciones a Xavi. Veo que eres muy joven y te auguro un gran futuro. Has visto que la privacidad es un punto fundamental que los usuarios de internet cada vez vamos a valorar más. Casi nunca escribo reseñas, pero tu App merece un 10 en todos los aspectos.
Espero con curiosidad las próximas novedades.
