Tap SOURCE in the history toggle and your read articles regroup alphabetically by publisher, with the feeds you follow at the top. Tap DATE to switch back. The choice sticks across launches. A steadier pull-to-refresh. When you pulled from deep in history, the top card could land clipped under the title bar until you reopened the app. That snap is now precise on the first try — the front page settles where it should, immediately.

Lede Reader 1.6 is a focused fix on the last small thing: when an image finished loading on the front page, the surrounding cards could shift slightly, nudging your scroll position. That last layout twitch is now gone — every card claims its space on the first frame and keeps it there. One thing to fix, fixed.

A steadier page, snappier articles. Lede Reader 1.5 is about the small things that should not happen while you're reading. - The front page stays put. Reading an article, liking it, or coming back from the lock screen no longer reshuffles your feed. Cluster order, card sizes, and what's on top change only when you actually refresh — pull to refresh, or come back after a longer pause. - Article images appear instantly. Heroes already on disk now snap in on the first frame instead of fading from a placeholder. Swiping forward in the reader pre-decodes the next two articles' images, so the queue feels uninterrupted even offline. - Source identity in every row. Briefly items and history rows without a hero image now show the source feed's avatar — same icon style as Settings — so each row stays anchored to where the story came from. Refresh now skips feeds that haven't changed instead of re-downloading the whole thing. On a slow news day the slot stays empty rather than promoting a single-source item to the top. - Tappable history rows, all the way across.
