El mejor diccionario de inglés de la AppStore
Parece que una app de diccionario no tiene mucho misterio, pero sólo hasta que comparas las normales con una tan bien diseñada como LookUp. La diferencia es abismal.
Información completísima (su fuente es el diccionario de Oxford), disponible también sin conexión a Internet, enlaza con la Wikipedia… una app de 5 estrellas sin duda alguna.
¡Ojo! que es un diccionario inglés-ingles e inglés-español, pero *no* español-inglés.

Ni siquiera la función de la palabra del día es gratuita.
Massive let down
I'm really let down by the changes in one of my favorite apps.
LookUp is a delightful dictionary app. Beautifully designed and most useful on a daily basis. Everyday I look forward to the word of the day, to expand my vocabulary, always carefully illustrated with perfectly matching pictures.
This key functionality, prominently displayed as the main item in the primary tab, is now taken away and I am forced to subscribe, not only to keep receiving the word of the day, which I could come to understand, but also to access those from previous days, weeks, months, years, which belong to my existing purchase.
What really baffles me is how Apple let this through App Review, as this seems to contravene their own guidelines:
App Store Review guidelines, 3.1.2(a) state that:
"If you are changing your existing app to a subscription-based business model, you should not take away the primary functionality existing users have already paid for."

Hi! Thank you for sharing the feedback. We don't intend to take away any functionality from our long term users. In fact, long term users should ideally get a lifetime access to LookUp+ for free. If you're facing issues in activating that, we'd recommend going into the app settings and tapping "Restore Purchases" to fix the issue.
