Is it possible to fake the location of a photo you took before uploading it to Instagram? Instagram shows only the location embedded in your photo. If there’s no such data inside the image file then you can assign your current location only. You can’t choose a different one! OK, you are not the type of a person that would put a fake location to your photo. How about this, when editing your photo with apps that strip off your data like PicShop, Vintique, or BeFunky, the location from your photos is automatically removed without you even knowing. So, what can you do? First edit your photos in your favorite photo editing app, then open it in Mappr, set any location you want and directly open Instagram where you can finish your upload (In the process Mappr will make a duplicate of your photo with the new location embedded so you can manually choose it in Instagram).

Hace su función a la perfección, te deja elegir la ubicación exacta o escribir una dirección. El único fallo que le veo, es que a la hora de guardar, podría darte la opción de conservar las dos fotos, o guardar la opción de “actualizar” la foto con la nueva ubicación

La única pega que le encuentro es que al poner la ubicación de la foto, la fecha de la foto cambia y se pone la fecha actual.. debería respetar la fecha original

Hi Mapps developers!I’m trying to change some photos location using your app. I want to put “Carabantes” as new location and when I put it, I found it but your app says that “Carabantes” is part of “Leon” province of Spain, and its wrong, because is per of “Soria” province. The location at map is correct but the text information is wrong. It could create some confusion for people.I’ve search “Carabantes” using Apple Maps and Google Maps and both have found my village correctly. I don’t know which is your data base but is wrong, please, update it!Thanks in advance and, good work folks!
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
