Aplicación para un control básico

La app está genial, tiene gran variedad de alimentos que incluir en tu diario. A mejorar: que te permita hacer distinción entre grasa y músculo en el cambio de peso

Está bien, pero...

La aplicación está genial para contabilizar lo que vas comiendo y hacerte una idea de cuán optima es tu dieta, pero veo que tiene el gran fallo de meter en el mismo saco tanto azúcares buenos como malos, de la misma forma que hace con las grasas.

Si te comes una porción de tarta, suma sus azúcares a los que has comido con fruta cuando estamos hablando de distintos tipos de azúcar. El problema es que alguien puede llegar a pensar que ambos son del mismo tipo cuando en realidad no es así. Mientras que para los de la tarta la OMS establece un límite de 20g diarios (aunque es mejor todo lo que se aproxime a cero), para los de la fruta no hay límite (siempre con moderación, que en exceso nada es bueno). Puede ocurrir que alguien deje de comer una pieza de fruta por haber llegado al límite de azúcar diario establecido en la aplicación o, mucho peor, que como suman igual, se coma esa cantidad de azúcar en bollos en lugar de fruta.

Con las grasas ocurre un caso similar. Esa misma tarta sumará sus grasas en el mismo bloque que las de un aguacate o un filete de salmón. Obviamente, las grasas de la tarta son el mismo tipo de veneno para nuestro organismo que sus azúcares y las del aguacate o el salmón son beneficiosos y necesarios para nuestra dieta diaria. El problema es que, si de por sí la gente tiene la extraña creencia de que las grasas son malas por definición, esta mezcla que hace la aplicación no beneficia en nada a erradicar esta creencia y, al igual que ocurre con los azúcares, puede ocurrir que alguien piense que ya que todas las grasas son iguales, ¿por qué voy a comer las de un aguacate en lugar de las de una tarta si esta me gusta más?

Este problema está generalizado en la propia sociedad con unos etiquetados en alimentación que inducen a la misma conclusión en la gente, pero en el caso de esta app, que no está sujeta a legislaciones ineficientes que buscan beneficiar a ciertos lobbies alimentarios y cuyo objetivo es fomentar una alimentación saludable, creo que debería dar un paso más a la hora de catalogar los nutrientes de una forma más efectiva.
