If you have any concerns or are making any substantial changes, you should consult your doctor or a member of your cancer care team.Oncio is the first free app available to anyone affected by cancer that aims to empower people to practically put integrative oncology tools and strategies into action. The app content and functionality has been and will continue to be co-developed with the community of people impacted by cancer through lived experience or a carer role. Key features of the app include: 1) guided programmes aimed at supporting lifestyle changes through daily actions and creating a broad toolkit for self-management - from nutrition and movement to psycho-emotional wellbeing 2) Symptom relief hub - evidence and guideline-informed support for targeting specific symptoms with non-pharmacological interventions, e.g. pain relief, menopause symptoms 3) General support hub - general information on integrative oncology (IO) and key modalities/therapies, as well as practical information including recipes and free groups and events offered by a variety of charities for community support. 4) Opportunity to connect Healthkit API and wearable devices to Oncio to help keep key health and wellbeing metrics in one place and monitor progress displayed on graphs. 5) Self-evaluation of progress and participation in app evaluation through validated health questionnaires.
