Solar Explorer: New Dawn 9+

He probado muchos juegos del género Lunar Lander, pero solo este ha conseguido sorprenderme de verdad. Ha sabido unir de forma magistral el enfoque arcade propio de estos juegos con un toque de simulador que le va muy bien, con gráficos, efectos y físicas muy realistas que dan profundidad al progreso del jugador.
Aún así, el juego tiene mucho margen de mejora. Un poco más de variedad en los contenidos y las mecánicas habrían evitado el tono repetitivo que pronto adquieren las misiones. También le vendría bien una curva de dificultad más ajustada, porque la cosa se pone “chunga” demasiado pronto y eso hace que la mayoría de los jugadores lo abandone antes de tiempo. Por último, no estaría mal que pulieran algunos detalles en la IU que hicieran un poco más agradable el uso y la navegación por sus contenidos (los textos son excesivamente pequeños para la pantalla de un móvil y la página de configuración de las naves es confusa y engorrosa de usar, por poner algunos ejemplos). Además, existen unos cuantos bugs y glitches gráficos que hacen que el conjunto no acabe de alcanzar el sobresaliente. Le doy las 5 estrellas para animar a sus desarrolladores a que sigan mejorando un proyecto con tanto potencial, aunque quizá ahora mismo no merecería más de 4.
En cualquier caso, es un gran juego, recomendable para todos aquellos que busquen aire nuevo en un género tan querido por los amantes de los clásicos.

Its a good game but sometimes one of the thrusters doesn’t work, nearly always the left one, I will still give it 5 starts as its very entertaining.

Thank you for playing and for your review! IT is very much appreciated. I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with one of the thrusters. This is unusual since it is the first time it appears as an issue. It can be a problem with the device itself, that it has some sensitivity problems with that area of the screen. This can easily be checked if you just rotate the device by 180 degrees and play it like that. If the problem goes away, or now the right thruster exhibits such problems, then it's most likely an issue with the touch detection of the screen.

It can also be how the controls are being pressed, meaning, which area of the screen is pressed. If you are pressing mainly near the corners or edges of the screen, then it could happen, since the sensitivity of the screen works a little bit differently near the corners and edges of the screen. Try pressing the screen a little bit away from the edges and corners and see if that helps to eliminate the problem.
