Fixed startup issues on iOS5 with iPads.

Fixed crash on startup. A crash has been brought to our attention which is specific to iPad devices that are NOT running iOS6 (e.g iOS5). If you have an iPad and you aren't running iOS6 we advise you against updating. A fix will be released soon.
