Description
v_trace is a visual traceroute application that shows* a list of the network servers from your machine to a target ip address or hostname and it attempts to place each to their corresponding location on a map.
The map display consists of a pin for each hop, the color of the pins change from green to red reflecting the latency of the hop.
*The ability to show and determine hops depends on your network's routing policies, if the packets are filtered no hops can be determined.

El traceroute de toda la vida
Es una versión del traceroute de toda la vida pero mostrando en un mapa la ubicación de cada router. Como es lógico tarda un poco cuando alguno no responde. Además debe obtener la resolución inversa así como la longitud y latitud de cada equipo vía DNS.
Pulsando en la "i" de abajo a la derecha se muestra el listado habitual en texto y se puede introducir el nombre o la dirección IP de un nuevo equipo.
Nota en mayo del 2013: le han añadido publicidad. Le rebajo la nota.
Nota en diciembre 2017: deja de funcionar en IOS 11. Pasa a una estrella y se desinstala.

Estic d'acord, el traceroute de sempre pero molt mes visual. Pero de cop i volta es col.lapsa i l'app es tanca.
I agree, the wellknown traceroute but more visual. But it suddenly collapses and the app crashes.
